We’re talking about how to add a user to your personal ad account on Facebook.
It’s very similar in the beginning from the business account, however, there are some differences that make a big deal, if you’re not watching for them.
Who Would You Add To Your Personal Ad Account On Facebook/Meta
This would be someone who is doing a consultation or managing your ads for your business. Here at FYI, we specialize in authors and their products. You would hire us to manage your ads via your ad account and your page. We even do them via AMS or other platforms.
But if you’re here, most likely, you’ve already hired us and you need to know how to add us to your account.
When you’re in your Facebook account, click on Ad Manager on the left hand side of the screen to get to your ad account.
Here is the dashboard for your ad manager.
Click on the hamburger stack on the left as shown below.
A new popup will come from the left, and you’ll select Ad Account Settings
This screen will appear (I’ve cropped it, so it’s not as big as it will be).
Click on Add People.
An overlying window will popup.
Add the name of your friend (NOTE: You have to be friends with them on Facebook, if you’re going to add them to your personal ad account. Not necessary for a business account).
Then select the proper/appropriate role – I would do Ad account advertiser. This keeps your account secure while also giving them permission to advertise.
Winner, winner, chicken dinner.
Now I’m hungry.
Click confirm once you’ve selected role and selected friend.
Done.
